How to play soccer 10
The soccer 10 is a traditional form of soccer pools with the punter having to predict the correct results from a list of 10 scheduled matches, called the Soccer 10 Fixtures. The pool runs on most days but the mid-week and weekend action is normally the hottest ticket in town.
The punter places a wager on 10 scheduled soccer matches with three bet choices available on each game. Home (H), draw (X) or away (away).
H means the home team, draw is represented by X and A means the away team.
For example Manchester United is playing Everton in one of the games on the list. The match is played at the venue of the team written first and in this case Manchester United is the H team and Everton the away team. A predicted draw is marked by an X.
M1 will denote Match One, M2 match 2 and so forth until the tenth one is reached.
The minimum bet is R2 and this is for selecting one option on all ten games. By choosing only one prediction per game means the ticket will cost a mere R2.
An example where the punter uses more options to make a bet will be: If a punter chooses two options per game – 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2 – R 2028. Then times that by 2 and the total bet will be R4056. This is for choosing two options out of ten matches on the bet slip.
A further example of a mixed bet will be – 1x1x2x1x1x3x2x3x2x1 = R72 x by 2 – total bet of 144.
