Over 0.5 Prediction

This is one of the most popular bet markets for punters, which is simple and straight foward. Over 0.5 goals is a market whereby the punter will be betting on the total number of goals to be scored in a particular match for both teams. When you bet on this market, you will be predicting the goals to be scored in a match to be 1 or more, what this means is that if a goal has been scored, your bet will win. Other popular over/under markets include: over/under 2.5 goals, over/under 1.5 goals and over/under 3.5 goals. 

Please note that it doesn’t matter who wins the match and who scores the goals, you will win your bet even if one team scores all the goals. The scorelines which will win this market are 0-1, 1-0, 1-1, 2-0, 2-1, 2-2, 3-0, 3-1, 3-2, 3-3 and so on, however, you will lose if the match finishes 0-0 because there has to be at least 1 goal. You will realise that an over 0.5 bet can be settled at any stage in the match and you do not have to wait for the match to finish.

The Over 0.5 market might come as First Half Over 0.5 , Second Half Over 0.5 or Full Time Over 0.5, it is important to realise that even though this market can be placed on different segmets of a match, the rules dont change and there must be a minimum of one goal in order for the bet to win. If you tip a match between Newcastle and Fulham for Over 0.5 goals and the match finishes Newcastle 1-1 Fulham, your bet will win since there were goals scored in this match.
