HWEH AWEH

The betting industry is booming worldwide as millions of people across the globe are now considering betting as a way of earning an honest living. As more and more people are getting involved in betting, it is necessary to equip punters with the necessary information about betting. One of the main things a punter has to understand are the betting markets because betting is more than just predicting Home Win, Draw, Away Win, there are several other betting markets that one has to understand in order to make informed betting decisions.
A betting market is a specific type or category of bet on a particular event and bookmakers offer several betting markets on each event. Betting markets are where you go to place bets on the various possible outcomes of sports events. There are several betting markets including 1X2, Over / Under 2.5, BTTS, Correct Score and HWEH/AWEH amongst others.

What is HWEH/AWEH?
The HWEH / AWEH betting market is quite a simple betting market which can be best explained by showing what the two acronyms stands for:
HWEH – Home to win Either Half
AWEH – Away to win Either Half
The HWEH / AWEH market comprises of two betting options, either Home to win either half (HWEH) OR Away to win either half (AWEH). This market is not the same as Home/Away to win Both Halves because with that particular market, a team has to win BOTH halves, that is, a team has to outscore its opponent in both halves, but with the HWEH/AWEH market, the team only has to win either the First or Second Half.
In order for a team to be considered to have won a half, that particular team has to outscore its opponent. For example, a half time score of Manchester City 1-0 Atletico Madrid means that Manchester City have won that Half.
It is important to note that the Full Time result does not matter in this particular market, that is, a team can win the second half and yet still lose the match, if you had placed a bet on that particular team to win either half, your bet will win even though the team lost the match. Injury time is included in these betting options, but extra time is not.
The HWEH / AWEH market has different variations namely:
(HWEH)Home Win Either Half (Yes) – this means the home team will win the first half or the second half of the match
(HWEH)Home Win Either Half (No) – this means the home team will NOT win the first half or the second half of the match
(AWEH) Away Win Either Half (Yes) – this means the away team will win the first half or the second half of the match
(AWEH) Away Win Either Half (No) – this means the away team will NOT win the first half or the second half of the match
