Kaizer Chiefs which is popularly known as Amakhosi is a South African football club from Naturena, Johannesburg which is one of the most successful soccer teams in South Africa. Amakhosi are arguably the best-supported club in South Africa and one of the best supported in Africa, it is estimated that Kaizer Chiefs approximately has 40,000,000 fans across Southern Africa. The name ‘Kaizer’ was derived from the club’s owner, Kaizer Motaung senior, who himself was an elite soccer player who played for the likes of Orlando Pirates, Atalanta Chiefs and Denver Dynamos.

Kaizer Chiefs is a seasoned football club which has been in existence for over 53 years as it ws launched on the 7th of January 1970, shortly after the return of Kaizer “Chincha Guluva” Motaung from the United States where he played as a striker for the Atlanta Chiefs, 1970 was a great year in the South African soccer fratenity because that is the same year Mamelodi Sundowns was also launched and these two are two of the most successful clubs in the country.

Keagan Dolly is a South African professional soccer player who plays for Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana as an attacking midfielder. Moegamat Yusuf Maart is a South African soccer player who plays as an attacking midfielder for South African Premier Division club Kaizer Chiefs and the South Africa national team. Maart was born in Cape Town, and grew up in Atlantis. He was scouted by Orlando Pirates in 2016 after being named player of the tournament at that year’s SAB U-21 national championships. Maart was called up to the South African national team squad for the 2021 COSAFA Cup. He scored his first international goal on 16 July 2021 in a COSAFA Cup semi-final victory over Mozambique.

Alton Zitha Kwinika is a is a South African soccer player who was born in Meadowlands on the 4th of January 1994.He plays as a defender for South African Premier Division side Kaizer Chiefs with whom he has had two spells, firstly from 2014 – 2016 and from 2022 up to now.
